Convergence Lab brought together artists working with new technologies, scientists, writers, architects and educators. A diverse range of next generation artists acted as catalysts over the three days, engaging participants in a collaborative investigation into digital culture and making.
Staff and selected students from across the University of Tasmania were involved including Fine Art, Visual and Performing Arts, Architecture and Design, The Conservatorium of Music, Earth Sciences, Geography and Environmental Studies, Journalism and Media Communications, English, Computing and Information Science and HitLab along with Tasmanian Polytechnic Creative Arts staff and students and Art and Media Production college teachers.
